Sorry for the delay- I had a late night last night, my son's first prom/formal. It was great- they had old fashioned ball room/community dancing like in the movie Pride & Prejudice and every couple danced and had a blast. It was so fun to watch. I stayed and worked at the cake and punch table with a few other mothers (a mothers job is never really done, right?). My daughter and her husband are here and well, between all of the visiting, I just got behind!
We have a winner for the MUG! It's Kathleen. I'm not sure which state she is in but she is the winner! I emailed her and I'm waiting to hear back from her.
Congratulations Kathleen! You won the coveted QuiltMaker's 100 Blocks Vol.3 coffee mug!
For today, comment and I'll select one more name for a free copy of the book- QuiltMaker's 100 Blocks Vol. 3. I have two more copies to give away, one today and one tomorrow.
Stay tuned, next week the drawing prize is a quilt!
2:45 pm UPDATE- no word from Kathleen yet. I know she's out there somewhere. We'll give her a few days to respond. That's the only bad thing about blogs- there's not always information to get a hold of someone who comments. The first choice today came with no information- no way to contact them, and signed anonymous. :(
We had to pick again. Normally when I do drawings, I have you email me so I can at least contact you when you win!
Please, if you enter today- give a hint of who you are if you are listed as anonymous!
9:00pm UPDATE- I finally heard from Kathleen- the winner of the mug. Congratulations Kathleen!
I'll check the comments early in the morning and select a winner for the book. If you don't win tonight, try again tomorrow- the comment numbers are dropping quickly so maybe you'll have a better chance then!
Aw... first formal :) Those mother moments at the punch table are precious!

ReplyDeleteOh how fun ~ an old fashioned prom. It's so much fun watching your little ones grown enough to attend prom. We went all out for my last child that went to prom ~ actually it was the last two since I had twin boys. We got them a fabulous price on a stretch Hummer limo and surprised them. It was awesome.
Awesome - another draw. I have one graduating this year also. It's a very busy time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your giveaway.

ReplyDeleteDarn, I was really hoping that I'd win that mug! Thanks for the chance to win another great prize.
ReplyDeleteProm, how fun! Bet you had a wonderful time! I didn't go to mine and now wish I had gone by myself. But back then it wasn't "cool" to go by yourself, and I didn't drive, so I would have had to call someone to pick me up. Probably better that I didn't go! :)

Good for you enjoying the Prom! Thanks for yet another giveaway!
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwwwwww I wanted to have the mug so bad :'( :'( :'(
ReplyDeleteSounds like you enjoyed your son's prom. We hosted an after prom party when my daughter was in school. What fun it was for the kids to dress up and what fun I had with them. Miss those days! Good thing I have my quilting and sewing to take up my time. I have the first two 100 blocks magazines and would love to add the third to my collection.
ReplyDeleteI guess if you don't leave any info, you have to go back and look at ALL the featured blogs again.
