Thursday

I can't make heads or tails out of this new blogger.  It looks OK to read it but trying to navigate it to post is a different thing all together. I don't like it at all but I am a creature of habit.  I don't do well with change and I wish Blogger and Facebook and everybody else would just leave things alone.  As they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.  I don't know why they have to keep updating and confuse everyone like me!

Still trying to finish quilts, as I am woefully behind as usual. I have too many new patterns it seems! I have several quilts being quilted -as soon as they come back I'll post pictures.  The Blog tour starts next week so be sure to check it out- they will have drawings for all kinds of goodies and I will personally do my thing on Wednesday- the day they assigned me.

Getting Further Behind!

I am still working on directions for new patterns but here is a new one using the new Wintersong fabric line- It's called Winter's Harmony. It is at the printer right now but should be available soon. I have a lot of new patterns coming for the Quilt Market next month and we'll have some drawings soon for them.

Meanwhile, I added more 108" wide backing fabrics on the website, you can see the colors here. We have sold quite a bit but still have a lot left. It normally sells for $11 per yard but you can purchase it for about $6 per yard for now- 4 yard cuts for $25. You can see it at: http://www.prairiegrovepeddler.com/Other.html

Email us if you are interested in different amounts.

Happy Easter Weekend!

I got a great deal on quilt backing fabric and I thought I'd pass the savings on to you. It's 108" wide and I have it listed in 4 yard cuts in lots of colors like red, navy, black, brown, green, tan, etc. It's listed at $25 right now with priority postage $5, which ends up about $7 per yard compared to the regular price of $11 a yard. After April the cost will go up to the regular price. The 4 yard cuts are enough for a king sized quilt. http://www.prairiegrovepeddler.com/Other.html

Take a look when you get a chance. We can cut any size piece also. We also listed some spring runners and quilts here. http://www.prairiegrovepeddler.com/quilt.html

I have 4 quilts being made and 2 more being quilted! We are on a roll now. I also have 4 new patterns for wool, one of the fibers I love, love, love! Other than the cold I have right now- yes, the second weekend in a row that I am sick, I plan to have a productive day today finishing a lot of projects then it's a holiday weekend! My sister Charlotte from TX is here this weekend to celebrate Easter with us and I plan to chill out with her all weekend. We hope you and your families have a blessed Easter.

Monday, Monday!

We had internet issues yesterday and I couldn't get on to blog, imagine that! I could have done it from my phone but honestly, I'm not THAT good at typing with my thumbs! I'm bad enough with my fingers! I did pick 2 winners because there were a LOT of entries. I love the notes everyone sends, thanks so much- I wish I had time to answer them all.
Winners are
Patricia from NC
and Kelly from KS

Thanks ladies- I'll cut a special selection of the line and send it with a panel for you to use.

I was sick a couple days this weekend but still able to accomplish quite a bit. I even got to babysit Lily and Grace. Nathan and Patrick were here for a while and with 4 screaming grandkids- it was a zoo! At one point, my husband just looked at me and walked outside! The peace and quiet when they all left was priceless! They were like wild animals! We had a great time and Lily slept in my arms while I rocked her pretty much most of the time. Who would put her down after all? I love that baby sleeping/ cuddle time!

I have 5 new patterns underway so far and even have directions and graphics done. Waiting on quilting to finish up. I'll start posting pictures soon. I'm finishing embroidery on another quilt and it should be off soon. I love when they all get to this point. I have to start the next fabric line very soon, as soon as I finish my 10 page paper for my International Business class. Not my favorite subject but 3 more class times and I'm done. That means I have 4 classes to go to graduate. Wow- it has gone so fast! I will have all kinds of time after that! Maybe!
